The research group “Immune regulations at muco-cutaneous surfaces” headed by Drs Fabienne Anjuère and Véronique Braud is a member of the PEVIA EU project that aims to bring to clinics multivalent non live vaccines against EBOLA infection (2017-2022). This research group is hosted in the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology (IPMC) (, located in Sophia-Antipolis/Nice, South-East area of France. IPMC is a leading Research Center of the Université Côte d’Azur equipped with state of the art core facilities and dynamic scientific environment.

Applications are invited for a full-time postdoctoral position in Immunology/Vaccinology (18 months) to participate to the development of a family of vaccines against EBOLA infections. The project aims to evaluate the immunogenicity of a family of original vaccines against EBOLA infection in a mouse model using a wide range of techniques (flow cytometry and gene expression profiling at single cell level, functional assays). The objectives are to dissect the nature and persistence of tissue-associated antigen-specific T and B cells responses and to identify the inductive mechanisms involved in vaccine-induced B and T cell responses.

The successful postdoctoral candidate should have a strong background in immunology, expertise in animal handling and flow cytometry. Experience in molecular biology and bioinformatic analyses will be an advantage. Written and spoken English communication skills, strong self-motivation, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are expected.
